    unique ambience
    poor signage
    inadequate parking

cobblestone courtyard, ample power sockets, complimentary water and snacks

Finding this place was a chore!!! Better signage is crucial. parked car suffered from aggressive bird droppings, definitely requires a more strategic parking arrangement!!! The smell from an air freshener near the bed ruined the experience!!!

    Comfy stay with delightful surprises

The charming location allowed us to wake up to the sound of singing birds and explore beautiful Shrewsbury nearby. Sam's welcoming nature was a standout surprise!

While the stay was relaxing, the outdated TV setup and limited breakfast options could use some improvement to enhance the experience.

    grim kettle
    thin duvet

i was hopeful for a delightful stay, but sadly, the experience fell short. a thin duvet and a grimy kettle were definitely not the highlights i anticipated. it would’ve been nice if they’d offered complimentary snacks or some kind of upgrade for my inconvenience, but alas, that just wasn’t in the cards. almost considered a better review, but just couldn’t.

    charming site
    comfy bed
    thoughtful touches
    small space
    limited dining

The charming site was a delightful escape, perfect for our anniversary celebration. The serene atmosphere, surrounded by winding country roads and the sweet sound of birds, made for a relaxing getaway. The self-contained room had all we needed, including a comfy bed and thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks in the fridge. While the space was a bit small for two, we enjoyed the quaintness of the cottage and the opportunity to explore the village's limited dining options nearby, including a great fish and chips place.

    tricky arrival

Arriving at the property, the picturesque surroundings and cheerful sounds of birds were refreshing. The spacious outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying a drink and soaking up the sun. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the well-equipped bathroom made for a pleasant stay. finding the place was somewhat tricky due to limited signage, and while the stay was delightful, more breakfast options would have enhanced the experience.
